What do we expect from a Land Acquisition System?

During recent decades, the majority of land seismic surveys have been acquired with cable systems. From the mid-2000, wireless systems started emerging. More recently, numerous models of blind nodes with embedded sensors have arrived on the market.

Although QC remains important for most oil & gas operators, it seems that blind acquisitions are more frequently considered in order to reduce operational costs, but at the risk of generating a valueless dataset while the acquisition is well advanced or even completed.
